Joshua King loan to Bundesliga stalls after injury sustained on international duty

Joshua King was all set for a loan deal at Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach next season but since the original agreement was in place, he has sustained an injury to his adductor whilst on international duty with the U21 Norwegian team and put the loan deal on stand-by. It is believed that King will undergo an operation to remedy the injury and a final decision on the loan possibility will be made in August. It is a shame that King suffered this injury because a season away at one of Europe’s top leagues would have done the young striker the world of good for his personal growth. Borussia sporting director Max Eberl spoke out about the situation on their official homepage.

“We have to see how long it will take after this operation and whether it makes sense to borrow King. We are not helped when over weeks or even months is not available. Our medical department is in contact with the doctors of Manchester United. From the information that the doctors give us, it ultimately depends on whether the transfer will occur or not. “

Nice to see top flight teams chasing our(MUFC) youngsters… Cursing the injury though, dying to see our answer to Arsenal’s Wilshere

United’s youth looks very good right about now, loads of youngsters coming through. Gill/Tunnicliffe/Pogba/Keane/Morrison/King…future looks good!
