Solskjaer: Gatt and Cunningham deserve a crack at Old Trafford

No doubt Solskjaer's proudest moment for United as a player and my personal proudest moment as a fan, sharing the joy with SAF

United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named two American youngsters from his squad to SAF that he believes can make it at Old Trafford. The FC Molde boss named Joshua Gatt and Sean Cunningham as two players that United scouts should keep their eyes on. 19-year old winger Gatt and 18-year old left back Cunningham  both came to FC Molde this year and Ole has no problems in coaching young players to the best of their ability. His stint as reserve manager showcased his talents as a leader and he won the Manchester Senior Cup along the way. SAF will quite probably take his advice on board and maybe we will see these youngsters in the red of Manchester in the future.

OFFICIAL: De Gea signs for United on a five-year deal in our best summer transfer yet

Well, we didn’t have to wait as long as we thought as David De Gea has this morning officially penned a five-year contract at Manchester United as we seal the Spanish goalkeeping sensation on a fantastic long term deal. He only had his medical the other day but ever since SAF openly admitted to the media that he saw De Gea as Van Der Sar’s long term successor, we knew it was only a matter of time before the young Spanish shot stopper joined the ranks at Old Trafford. At 20, he is light years ahead of anyone at his age and comparisons to Iker Casillas are rife and deserved. Buffon started his career at 17, Casillas started his career at 19 and De Gea started his career at 19; could United have landed the keeper of his generation? I think so.

FourFourTwo Wigan look keen on re-capturing Tom Cleverley on loan again next season despite how Tom may be a part of SAF’s plans for next season.

ManUtd Federico Macheda has vowed to improve on his return to United from a loan at Serie A outfit Sampdoria.

The Independent Nani has re-iterated that we have no plans to leave Manchester United this summer.
